The strategic thinking that science & technology and education will prosper medicine has been carried out completely. Medical scientific research level has significantly increased through special courses and important subjects of study. Several great clinical technical projects have been bidden for, which will get a heavy award if succeeded. In recent 5 years, more than 130 awards for science & technology promoting on municipal level have been obtained, four of which are on provincial level. 124 new technology and new projects have been carried out, 15 of which fill up national blank in related fields. Insisting on “people oriented”, both “the hundred experts engineering” and “the blue-green engineering” increase the strength of talent cultivation. Up to now, there are 19 experts who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council and 11 persons who are given the name of young or middle aged expert for their great contribution.
