Adhering to the policy of laying equal stress on Chinese and Western medicine, the special feature and advantage of traditional Chinese medicine have got intensified. Among 5 traditional Chinese medicine hospitals and one integrated traditional and western medicine hospital, there are 4 provincial stressed clinical subjects of traditional Chinese medicine and 39 traditional Chinese physicians famous in both Changzhou and Jiangsu. Great achievement in rural traditional Chinese medicine has been obtained. Wujin has made its way into national advanced processions for its traditional Chinese medicine work. Liyang and Jintan are evaluated as advanced county of Jiangsu province for the same work.
